Chris Smith, SMSgt, USAF (Ret)

Chris Smith is a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones. He spent 23 years serving his country, now he serves his clients with the same dedication and rigor. He is passionate about finding out his clients’ goals, using an established, proven process, and partnering with them for the rest of their lives to ensure they reach their goals.

Chris retired from active duty effective November 1, 2019. Senior Master Sergeant Smith was the Senior Enlisted Leader for Adversary Intelligence Operations, 324th Intelligence Squadron, Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam, Hawaii. He led over 600 joint-service and civilian personnel in the daily execution of USINDOPACOM’s highest priority intelligence target. Sergeant smith advised senior leaders on matters influencing force management, professional development, readiness and resource utilization.

 

Sergeant Smith grew up in North Texas and enlisted in the Air Force in December 1996. He served in multiple assignments as a Russian Cryptologic Language Analyst to include a special duty as an Interpreter and Deputy Team Chief for the Defense Threat Reduction Agency. Sergeant Smith deployed in 2016 as the Senior Enlisted Leader of the Intelligence Directorate for the Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa. Prior to assuming his role from which he retired, he served as the Squadron Superintendent at the 17th Training Support Squadron, Goodfellow AFB, Texas.
